Where are you located?

  • Tampa, Florida. Please note that this is not a retail storefront, but rather a “By Appointment Only” workspace, where we schedule pick ups and decorate your orders.

WHY ARE DECORATED COOKIES SO “EXPENSIVE"?

“If I wasn’t a Cookie Artist myself, I would find it hard to see the value in handcrafted, custom cookies without knowing everything that goes into them. I truly appreciate all of those who see value in what I do. -Brianna Smith, Owner/Cookie Artist

Here is a peak into the process of all the work that goes into a set of Custom Decorated Cookies:

  • Order Details & Design: Client consultation! This can be a brief or lengthy exchange of collaborating ideas. Please remember that every detail is custom made just for you! Next is the design process which can easily take 1-2 hours. I create a color scheme, gather inspiration, sketch your designs, create templates for hand-cut designs, choose fonts, design text layouts, and print necessary mood boards all based on your order form.

  • Mixing Up The Goods: Next we bake! All orders are made from scratch with costly ingredients such as butter and homemade Madagascar vanilla. This process includes mixing, rolling, chilling, cutting out dough, and baking. Next is the icing, this can take anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on the amount of colors and consistencies. It takes time to perfect the shades of your color scheme and different design elements require different icing consistencies.

  • Now for The Fun Part: Time to decorate! Decorating a set of custom cookies can easily take anywhere from 4-10 hours pending the level of design. I value this part of the process most and take extra time and caution to create crisp & clean intricate details, line-work, and font from start (flooding) to finish (piping).

  • Sending the Cookies Off To a Good Home: Last, we package! I value a beautiful and thoughtfully packaged product. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I individually heat seal each and every cookie in cellophane bags to ensure freshness, build custom bakery boxes, add shred to keep your cookies in tip-top shape during travel, include business cards, and stickers! Heat sealing cookies take time, and quality packaging products cost money. After spending so many hours creating beautiful and custom cookies for you, it only makes sense that it is presented to you in a beautiful way.

 
 

Do you OFFER DELIVERY?

  • Orders over $500 are eligible for delivery for a fee. Fees vary depending on where you are located in Hillsborough County, Pinellas County, or surrounding areas. All other orders are local pickup only in Brandon, FL.

 

DO YOU have an order minimum?

  • Yes, the order minimum is two dozen. If you are interested in smaller cookie sets be sure to follow us on Instagram and join our email list to stay up-to-date on Local Markets, Flash Sales, Giveaways, and Holiday Pre-sales, where we offer opportunities to purchase smaller sets and individual cookies throughout the year.

 

How do i place an order?

  • To place an order please fill out this order form! Once your cookie request has been submitted. We will get back to you within 48 business hours providing you with final details and a pick up/Shipping date. You will be sent an invoice via email that must be paid within 48 hours of being sent or the cookie spot will open back up to be booked by someone else. Please understand that inquiring about a cookie order does not confirm a cookie order. Orders will not be not confirmed until the invoice is paid.

 

How far in advance must i place an order?

  • There is one simple rule: “Better late than never, but never late is better”, as Drake would say.

  • Typically, we recommend that you reach out to us within 3-4 weeks of your event date. This lead time does increase around the holidays. But sometimes we will happen to have last minute availability or are able to accommodate with a Accommodation/Rush Fee, so it never hurts to reach out and ask!

 

What is the cancellation policy?

  • Black Sheep Cookie Co. makes every effort to accommodate customer requests, but because our products are made to order and require several days to complete, we cannot guarantee any order change or cancellation requests. Please contact Black Sheep Cookie Co. immediately if you need to change or cancel an order, and we will try to accommodate you. Due to the nature of our products however, please be aware that our default policy is that all sales are final.

  • In one word, ABSOLUTELY! But lets be real, not everyone enjoys a classic sugar cookie. GASP! Did we really just say the forbidden? That’s because we like to keep it real here at Black Sheep Cookie Co.! Our decorated cookie recipes are all made from scratch and have taken many moons to create. We wanted to offer a wide variety of awesome-sauce flavors alongside our OG Sugar Cookie (which by-the-way, is no average Joe!). We appreciate and recognize the individuality of our clients and understand that one size…. or cookie flavor, doesn’t fit all! Every cookie is made fresh to order with real eggs, real butter, pure extracts, and homemade Madagascar bourbon Vanilla. All the hard work that goes into our decorated cookies shines beautifully from the inside out and it all starts with taste! How are your cookies packaged?

  • Our Decorated Cookies are heat sealed for freshness up to a week or longer if frozen and are packaged in our beautiful designed bakery boxes.
